Climatic variations,
Berthing, unberthing, entering port and leaving port.
In order to sort the large amount of information collected at the HAZID meeting, a set of
accident sub-categories can be established as follows (Loughran et al. 1995):
1. Collision and contact accident subcategories
Berthing,
Starting up,
Loading and unloading in port,
Manoeuvring close to the berth,
Passage in open sea,
Loading fish at sea,
Entering harbor,
Shutdown,
